Lots of Shows and August Updates

Check out the calendar page because I have a whole bunch of fun improv shows coming up. In particular, I am in another Advanced Study Performance class at UCB, directed by Erik Tanouye. We'll be improvising with the added element of letter/diary writing. It should be a lot of fun! The show runs for two Tuesdays (August 27th and September 3rd) at the UCB Theatre in Chelsea at 11pm (after Harold Night). Also, Florence is performing every Thursday at 7:30 at the Queens Secret Improv Club this month, AND the awesomely funny Andrew Warner and I are making are 2-prov premiere under the name Soymilk and Cookies on Thursday night at 9:30 at the Triple Crown in Manhattan.

On the commercial front, I recently had a callback for a Sleepy's commercial at Donna DeSeta Casting, and this weekend I shot a new business pitch commercial for an awesome NYC production company and ad agency. 

In other exciting news, I was one of 100 out of over 500 applicants to be given an audition slot for UCB Maude (sketch) teams, so I'm preparing for that audition this weekend. It's an honor to even have the opportunity to audition, so I'm just hoping to have fun with the material I put together.  

Otherwise, I'm trying to just enjoy these final weeks of summer weather and keep up my writing schedule. Stay tuned for more updates!
